Cloud My Office is hiring a Helpdesk Technician. The role of the Helpdesk Technician is to assist customers who are experiencing any issues with Cloud My Office products or services, or with their on-site hardware. Complex issues are escalated to specialized departments as needed, with the Helpdesk Technician maintaining responsibility to ensure that an effective solution has been provided to the end user.
Who We Are Looking For
We’re a dynamic, growth-oriented company that is focused on great customer service. You must have a strong technical background and be a quick learner. You must be friendly, assertive and knowledgeable on the phone, and also willing to travel to client sites to assist with resolution of issues.
We’d love it if you had some experience working on a high-volume IT helpdesk, but we’re willing to train you too. Please don’t hesitate to apply if you’re a recent graduate or if you’re otherwise an awesome candidate who will rock our world.
Here’s the experience we’ll give priority to:
- Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2008R2, 2012, or 2012R2
- Windows XP, 7 and 8
- MacOS X
- Linux experience is a big plus
- 1 year helpdesk experience with a focus on remote support (via phone)
- Experience building PC hardware from components is a major plus
- Xen, XenServer or VMWare virtual hosting
- Terminal Server Environments
- Active Directory and Group Policy
- MS Exchange 2010 or 2013

Cloud My Office is a growth-oriented small business, located in State College PA, focused on product development and sales. We operate a very large Citrix XenApp cluster supported by other very large clusters including: VMWare, XenServer, Gluster and CentOS Linux, among other systems.
